great base for exploring tanglewood and local parks

I recently stayed here for a night and loved how close it was to Tanglewood, just 15 minutes away. The nearby Hancock Shaker Village offered a unique glimpse into history and culture. the room was clean and comfortable, and the friendly staff even suggested some great dining options within walking distance.

Unfortunately, noise disruptions from other guests made it hard to get a good night's sleep. The thin walls really let sounds travel.

I just loved how spacious the King Suite was-it felt like my own little haven! Relaxing in the whirlpool tub was a highlight for me, bubbling away after a long day and enjoying that cozy fireplace ambiance. The staff went above and beyond to, a standout experience.

Clean rooms, spacious family suites, and friendly staff. Breakfast options need improvement. coffee was not great and some items felt stale.

The room was pristine, complete with fluffy pillows and a perfect shower. However, I was disappointed to find the hot tub information misleading, as there were only two jacuzzi bathtubs available in separate rooms.

We really enjoyed our time at the hotel with family, especially the breakfast. The kids loved the waffles and endless juice options. We visited Mount Greylock during our stay, exploring the beautiful scenery and had a fantastic day. The staff recommended local spots for fun activities.

In my wife’s opinion, the pool hours were a bit limited for families with children.

The fireplace in my suite didn’t work during the stay, and despite notifying the front desk, maintenance never addressed it. The cleanliness of the room left much to be desired. some corners had cobwebs, and the mattress felt more like sleeping on springs than clouds. Additionally, outdoor maintenance started aggressively at 8 AM, with a gas-powered weedwacker practically outside my window, which made for an abrupt start to the day. While I appreciated the upgrade to a more spacious room, the overall experience felt slightly tainted by these inconveniences.

The central location was ideal for attending a concert, though it’s on a busy road and lacks scenic appeal. Cleanliness stood out, and the friendly staff enhanced the experience. Both the breakfast offerings were above average, featuring grilled seafood items, but the dining area felt cramped during peak hours. The room was tidy yet modestly sized, and parking was insufficient when the hotel was at capacity.

We had such a cozy time in our double room with comfy beds and a lovely bath! The hotel also had a great lounge to chill in and a well-kept garden for some fresh air. The only hiccup was some noise from the neighboring rooms, but it didn’t ruin our stay at all. 😊

Overall, a solid stay with room for improvement.

The location was perfect for checking out the Butternut Ski Area and Mount Greylock. After a day of skiing, we enjoyed resting comfortably in our spacious room. The staff was friendly and helpful, making our experience even better. I'd recommend it for a fun group getaway!
